Abstraction Health

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Abstraction Health ("we," "our," or "us") operates abstractionhealth.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our site.

This site is an informational research tool. The public research library does not require an account, and we do not collect personal health data or sell personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Usage data (analytics): If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized information about how you use the site — pages visited, time on page, general location (country/region), device type, and browser. This data is aggregated and never linked to you personally.

Cookies: We use a single cookie to remember your analytics consent choice. If you decline analytics, no tracking cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics may set its own cookies to distinguish users and sessions.

Optional account features: Some older or experimental features may support sign-in or personal supplement stacks. Those are not required to browse the public research library. If you choose to use an account feature, we may store the email address and stack information needed to provide that feature.

Advertising: We use Google AdSense to display ads. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

No personal health data: We do not collect, store, or process information about diagnoses, medical conditions, prescriptions, or treatment.

2. How We Use Information

  • To understand how visitors use the site and improve its content
  • To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdSense
  • To provide optional account features if you choose to use them
  • To maintain the performance and security of the site

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process data about your visit:

  • Google Analytics 4 — web analytics. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google AdSense — advertising. Google Ads Policy
  • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
  • Supabase — database (stores only supplement/research data and optional account-feature data if you choose to use those features)

4. Your Choices

Analytics consent: When you first visit the site, you can accept or decline analytics tracking. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site.

Personalized ads: You can opt out of personalized ads through Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.

Do Not Track: We honor browser Do Not Track signals by not enabling analytics tracking when DNT is active.

5. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings (up to 14 months). Optional account-feature data is retained while the feature is active or until deletion is requested.

6. Children's Privacy

Abstraction Health is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we collect only anonymized analytics data (and only with your consent), there is generally no personal data for us to provide or delete. For any requests, contact us at the email below.

Our legal basis for analytics processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies for this site.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
